Happy Optics was founded on a belief that has never wavered: quality eye care is a right, not a privilege. What began as a modest practice in the heart of Addis Ababa has grown — through dedication, expertise and deep community commitment — into Ethiopia's most trusted optometry clinic.

The First Clinic Opens
Happy Optics opens its doors in Addis Ababa with 3 optometrists and a powerful vision for accessible eye care.
2013
First Corporate Partnerships
Signed landmark employee vision care agreements with major Ethiopian financial institutions.
2017
Community Outreach Launch
Free vision programs launched across 12 schools and partnerships with 4 public hospitals established.
